* TADALAFIL
Adcirca Drug Information
Pharmacologically, Adcirca is a selective cGMP inhibitor. By inhibiting cGMP, relaxation of smooth muscles and subsequently dilatation of blood vessels is brought about. Primarily used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, this generic medication may also be used to manage erectile dysfunction in men (but it is marketed under a different name when used for this purpose). Adcirca is classified under WHO group I drugs for the management of hypertension. The primary outcome of this drug in patients who suffer from pulmonary hypertension is an improvement in their ability to do physical work and exercise.
Adcirca Dosage Information
Discount Adcirca can be bought from North Meds as 20 mg tablets. The recommended daily dose of Tadalafil is 40 mg and this is usually by taking two 20 mg tablets together. Most physicians do not recommend splitting the dose and consuming the two tablets separately at different points of the day. Higher doses (of up to 100 mg) may be given to treat erectile dysfunction effectively but when used for the management of pulmonary arterial hypertension, the dose seldom exceeds 40 mg.
Side Effects and Precautions for Adcirca
Cheap Adcirca is available as a prescription medication in most pharmacies. Although it is fairly well tolerated, adverse effects like myocardial infarction, palpitations and dizziness due to sudden hypotension have been reported. Tadalafil is also known to cause impairment of vision due to retinal vein occlusion. Patients must make their current medication status clear to the physician before they buy Adcirca; those patients who are on treatment with Nitrates or any other vasodilator will do well do avoid Adcirca. Pregnant and nursing women must try and avoid this medication unless absolutely necessary. Patients with mild kidney impairment may require tapered doses of this drug and should follow their physician’s instructions carefully.< p>
