Dexilant Dosage Information
The recommended dosage for GERD without esophageal disorders is 30 mg per day for four weeks. Patients with severe erosive esophagitis or with GERD should take 60 mg once daily for eight weeks. Your doctor may advice you to continue taking a lower dose of 30 mg once per day to prevent the disorder returning. This may continue up to six weeks. For Hepatic Impairment a dosage of 30 mg once per day has to be administered. The contents of the tablet can also be taken by breaking it and spraying it in a teaspoon and swallowed immediately.
