Mirapex
* PRAMIPEXOLE ER
Mirapex ER Drug Information
Mirapex ER extended-release tablets are used as an individual therapy or in a combination with other medications for treatment of early Parkinson’s disease. Its active components improve patients’ ability to move and decrease trembling, shaking, slow motions or instability. This generic medicament is a dopamine agonist and it works just like the natural dopamine found in brain. It acts on dopamine receptors by exciting them and provoking greater levels of the chemical transmitter dopamine. Higher levels of dopamine in turn, relieve the main Parkinson’s disease symptoms. This medicament can also be used for treatment of Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) or other medical conditions (only after doctor’s prescription).
Mirapex ER Dosage Information
Dosed Mirapex ER tablets should not be chewed, crushed or dissolved in water, the whole tablet needs to be swallowed. The initial dose of cheap Mirapex ER is 0.375 mg daily taken in one portion. According to patients’ reactions and positive effects, Pramipexole ER dosage could be increased – at first to 0.75 mg a day and then 0.75 mg should be added to the daily dosage until the maximum daily dose of 4.5 mg is received. Patients can now benefit from discount Mirapex ER offered at North Meds in dosages of 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg and 1 mg.
Side Effects and Precautions for Mirapex
As every other medication, Pramipexole ER can in a limited number of cases cause some side effects which, however, are insignificant and either demand no treatment or are very easily cured by your general practitioner. Among the most common side effects of Mirapex ER are drowsiness, constipation, weakness, dry mouth or muscle spasms. Other more serious side effects could be trembling, vomiting, headache, stomachache, insomnia, frequent low blood pressure attacks.
