Naprelan is an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) that can be used to reduce fever, pain, inflammation and stiffness resulting from conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, kidney stones, gout, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, menstrual cramps, tendinitis and bursitis. Primary dysmenorrhea can also be treated using a generic form of this drug. The advantages and disadvantages of the drug should be considered before starting medication.
