Natrilix SR Drug Information

Natrilix SR is a thiazide diuretic drug (also being a part of the chlorosulphamoyl diuretics group) which is mainly administered for treatment of mild to moderate hypertension and edema. The generic drug is performing a sustained release of its main active component thus ensuring its constant volumes in circulating blood over a period of more than 24 hours. The medicament reduces high blood pressure by controlling salt and water levels in blood and lowering the amount of fluid circulating with blood stream. Unlike all other diuretics causing an excessive urination, this drug leads to only a slight increase of urine produced by the kidneys.

Natrilix SR Dosage Information

Recommended primary dose of Indapamide is 1.5 mg daily, preferably taken in the morning. If no positive results have been achieved after four-weeks treatment, Natrilix SR dose may be raised to 3 mg a day or to further 6 mg a day. Recommended starting dose of cheap Natrilix SR for patients with edema is 3 mg a day, with a possible increase to 6 mg daily. Side Effects and Precautions for Natrilix SR

Indapamide may sometimes cause a number of side effects, the less serious of them being headache, tiredness, upset stomach, dizziness, muscle pain, risk of dehydration or low potassium levels. More serious unwanted effects that call for immediate doctor’s attention include swelling of lips, mouth or throat, irregular heartbeats, heavy blisters or skin rash. Very rarely Natrilix SR may cause a condition known as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome.

The drug should be very cautiously administered to patients suffering from kidney dysfunction, diabetes, mild kidney and liver disease. Patients with severe kidney disease or advanced liver cirrhosis should not buy Natrilix SR and use it. The medicament should be absolutely avoided by pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers. It is not recommended to be used in pediatric patients.
