Fludara Drug Information

Hematological malignancies are treated with Fludara. It is also considered to be extremely effective against Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia also known as CLL. It plays a crucial role in treating acute leukemia and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Fludara Dosage Information

Fludara is also known by the name Fludarabine phosphate or Oforta. The recommended dose for generic or brand Fludara is 25 mg / m2 every day. It is given intravenously within 30 minutes, over a period of 5 days. The 5-day course of treatment should be repeated every 28 days. Elderly patients and patients with a history of bone-marrow or renal insufficiency should be monitored very carefully to check for excessive toxicity.
