Procoralan Drug Information:

Procoralan is an anti angina and anti ischemic drug used for treating patients suffering from coronary artery disease but having normal sinus rhythm (chronic stable angina pectoris). The medicine is used in patients who are intolerable to other heart medicines called beta-blockers or in patients who are treated with beta-blockers but have a heart rate over 60 beats per minute and therefore need an attendant therapy for achieving optimal results. The generic medicament works by decreasing raised heart rate (especially in cases of intensive exercise, strong emotions or abundant eating), thus reducing heart’s need for oxygen and preventing it from contingent angina attack.

Procoralan Dosage Information:

The recommended initial dose of Ivabradine is 5 mg taken twice a day. The daily dose of Procoralan may go up to 7.5 mg taken two times a day if the drug is well-tolerated and the individual patient’s therapy requires the higher dosage. The daily dose of cheap Procoralan might go down to 2.5 mg taken twice daily if a heart rate as low as 50 beats per minute is attained. Discount Procoralan in single dosages of 5 mg and 7.5 mg is now available at North Meds.

Side Effects and Precautions for Procoralan:

Unlike most of the anginal medicaments, Ivabradine does not have any of the following side effects: negative inotropic effect, bronchoconstriction or peripheral vasoconstriction. Some patients taking Procoralan may complain of increased bright vision, headache, drowsiness or unusually frequent heart beats. All these conditions are temporary and should subside after medical treatment is finished. Extremely rarely some more serious effects might occur: nausea, diarrhea, constipation, uncommon muscle contractions or changes in blood test results. Patients should not buy Procoralan if they have liver disease, hepatic insufficiency or renal insufficiency, sinus syndrome, unstable angina, sharp myocardial infarction, heart failure or are pacemaker-dependent. The medicament should not be administered to pregnant women, nursing mothers or patients allergic to any of its components.
