Proglycem Suspension

Proglycem Drug Information:

Proglycem is a thiazide medicament available as an oral solution and a capsule, which unlike all other thiazides has no diuretic effects. It is used for treatment of low blood sugar, a condition also known as hypoglycemia. There are certain conditions forcing pancreas to release greater amount of insulin (more than the human body needs and requires), hence lower levels of blood sugar. The generic drug helps blood sugar reach its normal levels by preventing pancreas from producing extra insulin. The medicament is administered with doctor’s prescription only and should be taken in the strictly prescribed quantities.

Proglycem Dosage Information:

Diazohide daily dosage should be cautiously set according to patient’s individual blood sugar levels and response to the medical treatment. The recommended starting dose of cheap Proglycem is 3mg/kg given in three equal servings every 8 hours. The general daily dose of Proglycem is between 3 mg/kg and 10 mg/kg taken twice or three times a day in equal intervals of 8 or 12 hours. North Meds now tenders discount Proglycem tablets of 50 mg and 100 mg and Proglycem suspension of 50 mg/ml.

Side Effects and Precautions for Proglycem:

There are some mild side effects that are associated with Diazohide treatment. These are nausea, stomachache, vomiting, diarrhea, tiredness, skin rash, loss of appetite or lowered taste sensitivity. Instant doctor’s aid is needed in cases of fast heartbeat, thorax pain, anxiety, fever, flu symptoms, decreased urination, easy bleeding or bruising, swelling in different parts of the face, tongue or throat. Proglycem should not be administered if patients have gout, kidney disease, congestive heart failure, too high levels of cholesterol or too low levels of potassium. If, during the course of treatment, blood sugar levels get extremely high, patients might experience increased thirst, decreased appetite, intensive urination, vomiting or skin dryness. Pregnant and breast-feeding mothers should not buy Proglycem and use it.
