Reclast Drug Information
The drug is used for prevention and treatment of glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis in patients due to remains of glucocorticoids for least 12 months. It reduces fracture incidence in postmenopausal women. With men, it is used to increase bone mass. Reclast is used to treat Paget's disease and with patients at risk of complications owing to the disease.
Reclast Dosage Information
For postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, the Zoledronic acid dosage is 5 mg once a year. For osteoporosis prevention in postmenopausal women, the dosage is 5 mg once every two years. For men the dosage is 5 mg once a year. For gluco corticoid induced osteoporosis, the dosage is 5 mg once a year. In patients with Paget’s disease, the dosage is 5 mg. Side Effects and Precautions for Reclast
