* CYCLOSPORINE
Restasis Drug Information
Restasis is an immunosuppressant drug. Primarily, the drug is used for treating and reducing inflammation of the eye(s). The drug is administered as an ophthalmic solution. It is used for increasing the production of tears. It is effective in those patients in whom the production of tears is suppressed because of inflammation within the eyes. This may be due to a condition called kerato-conjunctivitis sicca. As an ophthalmic solution the precise mechanism of action of the drug is not known. However, it is considered to act as an immune-modulator. This is a prescription drug. Also, cheap Restasis is available with all leading pharmacies.
