Sanctura XR is an extended release capsule used for the treatment of an overactive bladder. It controls frequent urination and urge urinary incontinence by relaxing the muscles of the bladder. An overactive bladder is a condition which results in a sudden, involuntarily contraction of muscles in the urinary bladder that causes the sudden and unstoppable need to urinate.
