Sular Drug Information

Sular is a CCB drug (calcium channel blocker), also referred to as an antagonist of calcium channel. It belongs to the drug class called dihydropyridine. The drug is used for treating patients who have hypertension (high blood pressure). Generic drug may be used as a single agent or in combination with other anti-hypertensive agents as well. The drug acts by preventing the calcium ions from entering into the cells. By blocking the calcium ions, the drug inhibits this action. In-turn, the drug induces dilation of the systemic and coronary arteries. Discount Sular can be ordered with a doctor’s prescription from any leading pharmacy.

Sular Dosage Information

Usually the starting dose of Sular is recommended to be 20 mg. This dose is administered once a day. Depending upon the patient’s response, the dose is increased. Each week the dose may be incremented by 10 mg. The maintenance dose of the drug is 20 mg to 40 mg. Dose alteration may be required for elderly patients and patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency. North Meds offers cheap Sular at 10 mg and 20 mg doses.
