Suprefact is used for the management and treatment of prostate cancer. It is a prescription drug that is usually administered as an injection or as a nasal spray. This generic drug works by imitating a hormone that is naturally produced in the body, thereby inhibiting the production and action of testosterone. This actually helps in bringing down the testosterone levels in the body in order to fight colon cancer.

This nasal solution is to be taken in doses of 2 sprays, one in each nostril for reducing the production of hormones. This medication is to be taken six times each day. The recommended dosage is one spray into each nostril before and after breakfast. This is followed by one spray before and after lunch in the afternoon. Similarly, take one spray into each nostril before and after dinner. Each spray contains of 100 micrograms of Buserelin.
