Vesanoid Drug Information
Vesanoid is an antineoplastic – an anti-cancer chemotherapeutical medicine that is very often used as a multi-therapy with other drugs. It also belongs to the group of retinoid drugs and is actually a form of Vitamin A. The generic medicament is used for treatment of a certain type of cancer - acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL). It is a disease affecting the white blood cells in the body, causing a state when a lot of the white blood cells cannot mature and therefore cannot function properly. The medicament contributes to cells growth and maturation and this way induces remission.
Versanoid Dosage Information
The recommended aggregate dose of Tretinoin is 45 mg/m2 per day, taken in two equal doses. Therapy with Vesanoid should be suspended either 90 days after treatment or after 30 days in case the disease has been brought to a full remission (whichever happens first). After treatment with cheap Vesanoid patients should undergo a maintaining chemotherapy for APL. North Meds now welcomes their customers to make use of discount Versanoid single dosages of 10 mg.
Side Effects and Precautions for Versanoid
Tretinoin does not cause side effects to all patients using it. Very rarely patients using it might experience weakness, headache, fatigue, vomiting, nausea, dry skin, increased perspiration, loss of hair, vision disorders, skin rashes, white patches inside the mouth or on top of lips. These are light effects that generally do not need doctor’s help. Versanoid is a very dangerous drug, however, that could sometimes lead to a possible fatal condition called Retinoic Acid APL syndrome. Its main symptoms are fever, difficult breathing, weight gain, swelling of hands or feet and an eventual organs failure. In this case doctor should be called for immediately. Patients who buy Versanoid and use it should not have any vaccinations or immunizations done. The drug is prohibited during pregnancy and breast-feeding as it will most probably do harm to the baby.
